Hello Again!

Hello,
Well again another week is over. They just go by so fast. We had a good week. W have been teaching a ton with Members and it has helped a ton. Yes we went back to Maale! We have taught her 3 times now and we have another lesson set up for Friday. I think her and our Member have crushes on each other. The member has given up everything for the church. Even his family...his wife wasn't supportive. So maybe Maale is a blessing. At first she didn't want anything but now she is really interested in it all. So its very exciting to teach her. We also have/had a baptismal date with a guy named Mikk, but he didn't come to church so its being pushed back. He's been taught since I was first here, but he seems to be doing good. Taavi came to church too. One more and we can baptized him! Maarja is being a bum. We need to drop her. She is just being stubborn and hardening her heart. I love her, but I am starting to think that leaving her alone for a while will be the best thing to do! The weather is finally getting better. The snow is melting like crazy. I need a boat to get around Tartu, but I am loving it. I get hot walking around. I have missed that. haha. We went and taught Monika once and she showed a lot of interest then we went back again and she jaked us. So I dont know about her. We saw her and she said her baby was sick and kind of ran off. So we will try back again. I am just really excited for General Conference this next week. You are all so lucky to watch it on TV in your pajamas at home, in English. haha. We have to wait a few days for the English one, but I will try to understand it in Estonian. haha. It will be rough. Well I love you all. I hope you have a great next week!

Tere Tere Kallike!‏

Hello everyone!
This week has been so good for you me. I have had so many amazing experiences. One of the best on my mission. First off, I am still in Tartu. I am with Elder Hortin and Elder Gray came with us as well. I served with him for one transfer in Pärnu. We are now the only ones in a trio in Estonia! God likes me in trios for some reason. I still haven't figured that one out. Elder Baird from my MTC is training. So that is cool for him. So this week me and Hortin were a little trunky because of Elder Widdison leaving. So Elder Gray got here and our Tuesday night didn't have anything planned. All our lessons jaked us (stood us up.) So we decided to go knocking. We tried a building and nobody would let us in. Then I tried a builiding and the lady didn't want us to answer but I asked if she would at least unlock the door and so she did. So we went knocking and I was able to give away two books of mormon. I was just trying to be really happy and really smiley and it ended up working. At first they didnt want them, but I persisted and they finally took them. Then our last two doors we knocked. I talked to the first lady and she didn't want anything to do with us. Well her name is Maale and we finally got her to agree to us to come back. The second door was a young girl named Monika and she also agreed. So we taught them both this week and well we have 2 new investigators. They are both moms. Maale is single and Monika is 21 with a live in and a baby. So that was really cool. We taught once and they both want us to come back. They seem interested. So I will let you know how that goes! Sunday church I was able to follow along in Sunday school and answer questions and pay attention and everything. It was so dang awesome! I loved it. Man you have no idea how greatful I am for this opportunity to be here in Estonia. It is definitely the hardest thing I have ever done but I am growing so much. I absolutely love it. of course I have days where I am down but thats okay. For every bad day theres many more good ones. Im just happy. Oh and in Priesthood I am now the official piano player. I just play those simplified hymns but I am pretty sure thats going to be my new calling. haha. We have taught Taavi and his sister and now his sister Ave wants to be baptized. She is always in the country on the weekends but we are trying to get her to church. Sh eloves the book of Mormon and is just awesome. Thats exciting.
Well thats all this week. Love you. Send me letters. Please!!

Hello Again!

Hello everyone,
This week has been busy. We have had blizzard snow storms here and man its cold. I slipped again yesterday and now have a huge bruise on my leg. The things missionaries go through to serve the Lord. haha I love it! Well we had so much fun at zone conference! Good to see everyone again. President Dance taught us alot about how to keep the Spirit with us in the work and how to plan better. It was actually very helpful. So a really good zone conference. I said goodbye to Vanem Roberts my trainer. We are preparing for Widdison leaving. He ships out tomorrow. I am going to miss him. We find out transfers tomorrow. Two new Elders. I am not sure what to think. I don't know whats going to happen. Either way Ill be excited. Maarja still hasn't been baptized. She now says when the spring is here and she can be baptized in the Lake she will do it. She wouldn't lie to me either. So I am positive its going to happen, but when I am not sure. We'll continue to teach her and challenge her. We are teaching Triin from english and we taught her with a member last night. It went really well. We committed her but she doesn't want to leave the Lutheran church and make them feel bad. Shes so sweet. haha. So we will continue teaching her. Taavi is being a punk but his sister who is a year older has shown a lot of interstest lately. So we are going to change our focus. Shes way good. Something will happen soon. Liss, Peeter, and Kärt are so good. They took us to the Atlantis again and they are planning something for my birthday. They are so just dang busy. They all work like crazy and its really hard to teach them at the Atlantis. So as of right now they are not progressing but they really like us. So something will happen, I just don't know when. Kärt is moving to Michigan in August. She is getting her masters degree so I hope to do something with her before she leaves. But right now is just seems like a waiting game with our investigators. We have a ton, but you know. I think once this blasted snow leaves and spring arrives things will change. Estonians moods change with the seasons. I feel like something will happen soon. I am excited. Well until next week!

Tsaio...

So today is womans day in Estonia. So happy womans day to all of you out there. I hope it is a good one. This past week has been crazy busy again. We were able to teach Kert, Liis, and Peeter again. They made us some yummy food and took us home in a car. (Food and Cars from people don't happen often in this mission) It was fun. Liis and Kert even wear CTR rings. Pretty cool. But they have just a few problems with the church because they have seen some really strict mormon families judge them. To bad, but we are getting them past it. They are throwing Elder Widdison a good bye party on Tuesday. I am going to try and bake a cheesecake. Wish me luck. We taught a few people this week that just faught us. Everything we taught, they had a concern. These Tartu scientist. haha. We are really working hard. We also have a bunch of new investigators from English class. One is named Triin, and she looks like Kate from the show Lost. She is against smoking and drinking and is pretty much living a LDS life right now. So we teach her private english lessons, and then some doctrine. So thats really fun. An old missionary that lives here is getting married on the 20th to an Estonian so his whole family will be here next Sunday so I am excited for that as well. And Zone conference is this week. Spiritual nourishment. I am excited.. Well I love you all. I hope you have another great week! Thanks for all the messages you send me!
Love you!

Tere!

Well this week was so busy. We would leave our house at 11 and not return until 9 at night. We have taught so many people! Its been really good! We found a new kid this week named Tarmo! Hes really cool and really smart! But he has issues with religion and science and evolution and all that. So if any of you have advice, church articles, or scriptures that could help with it, please let me know! The Dances came to church yesterday and spoke. We had 4 languages being translated; English, Finnish, Estonian, and Russian. Only in Estonia. It was really neat that even though so many people speak different languages they can still recieve the same message. it was really fun to have them come. The weather last week had been so warm. The snow was melting and there were puddles everywhere, but now its snowing again! Whoopy! haha. Taavi didnt make it to church this week. Kind of a bummer. But we are taking the Primary teacher to visit him this week so hopefully hell feel more comfortable and not so bored. We had 40 people to sacrament. So good. This branch has gotten so strong. I love it so much here! I love the work! I love this church! It is true! I love you all!
